运用适应度景观(NK)模型分析复杂环境中组织分权提高双元搜索绩效的边界条件。仿真结果表明:组织分权对双元搜索绩效的影响并不确定,这与环境复杂程度和双元搜索关联性的交互作用有关。当且仅当竞争环境复杂程度低且双元搜索不存在关联性时,组织分权才最有利于双元搜索绩效水平的提高。在上述两种因素交互作用的其他情况下,相对于组织集权或整合模式,组织分权则更容易导致较低双元搜索绩效的产生。研究结论不仅能为复杂环境中企业的双元型组织设计策略提供一定启示,也能以一个新视角解释当前ICT市场中一些企业的绩效困境。
Using NK model, we analyze the limitation of organizational decentralization and ambidextrous search in the complex environment. The simulation result shows that the influence of organizational decentralization on performance of ambidextrous search is uncertain. The performance is affected by the degree of complexity of environment and the interaction between exploration learning and exploit learning. When the degree of complexity of environment is low and the two learning processes have no interaction, decentralization is most conducive to raise the level of ambidextrous search performance. On the other hand, compared with centralization mode and reintegration mode, decentralization mode is more likely to lower the performance of ambidextrous search. These results not only provide insights on organizational design of enterprises in the complex environment but also provide explanation for some phenomena in recent ICT markets.
