In this article the urbanization process of population and present condition were mainly analyzed. It was raised that we can promote the urbanization development of population from the strategy-instituting of urbanization development, the centered function-strengthening of middle and small city, the construcion of general towns and so on. Gradually, a urbanizaation pattern which was based on absorbing population in city area was formed for population- absorbing.
