由于“后发劣势”,我国的公民教育存在着研究方法上的单一化以及研究成果的浅表化现象,而全球化时代的到来使得公民教育研究有可能跳出原有的狭隘视野。从本土化、规范化、国际化三个维度的视域,可以把握我国公民教育在全球化视野下的研究进路。所谓本土化,即研究的意识要彰显本土,研究的对象要立足本土,研究的旨趣要服务本土;所谓规范化,即在本土化的公民教育研究中,要强化研究的形式规范、内容规范和方法规范,便于学者之间的对话与交流;所谓国际化,即以国际通行的尺度来考量我国公民教育研究的本土化是否合格,规范化是否有价值,为我国公民教育的研究成果最终走向世界奠定坚实的基础。

By localization, we mean that the research con- sciousness should show the localization, that the research object should base itself upon the nation and that the re- search purpose should serve the native civic education; by standardization, we mean that we should intensify the formal criterion, the standard of content and the standard of method in the process of localization of civic education research for the convenience of dialogue and communication among scholars; by internationalization, we mean that we should check the level of localization and standardization of our civic education research with the standards which are popular in the world, and then we can lay a sound foundation for the results of our civic education research being accepted by the world.
