英文摘要：

Based on Johanson co-integration test, Granger causality test and error correction model, this paper undertakes a verification on the relationships between the development of Chinese services and its sub-industries and the economic growth by analyzing the year data from 1978 to 2007. The research indicates that the causal relationship between services development and the economic growth is different from that between the sub-industries of services and the economic growth due to the heterogeneity and complexity of services. Furthermore, some policy suggestions on promoting services upgrading and development are put forward at the end of this paper.
