Toxicity of Chinese Medicine is one of key problems in the scientific research of TCM recently. The toxicity and efficacy of Chinese Medicine are not only the appearance of advantages and distinguishing features of TCM, but also the foundation of survival and development of TCM. This article is studying on the research of the toxicity of Chinese Medicine from the meanings of the toxicity and the discrimination for the characteristics of toxicity. And it also predicts the possible role of information technology in the research of Toxicity Characteristics of Chinese Medicine.
