Rhizoma Paridis is a kind of endangered traditional ethno-medicine which has obvious curative effect and is widely used in tradition Chinese medicine.This paper reviews the studies concerning the plant taxonomy,chemical constituents and pharmacological effects in recent 5 years which provides some document basis for its further research and application.
