With the development of genetically modified food technology, more and more kinds of genetically modified food have being presented in public view. However,the safety of genetically modified food is unpredictable. It＇s necessary for all the countries to take effective measures to reduce risk. On the basis of the analysis of genetically modified food development status, the problems of genetically modified food safety management in China were probed.And then some feasibility proposals were put forward ,such as establishing genetically modified food safety laws and regulations, completing genetically modified food inspection standards, traceability standards, etc.
