YJ17 Roll-Formed Machine is high-speed roll-formed device for the domestic mainstream production of cigarettes for introducing Germany advanced PROTOS70 technology.Siemens PLC S7-400 control system is adopted for YJ17 Roll-Formed Machine.Due to combining PLC’s Internal start-up program, paper-tray conversion program, tension control program etc with external electrical equipment, the system can realize main drive control, splicing control, cigarette papers’tension control etc.In the case of sealing device control, Seven-steps work order in start-up program is delayed by cigarette clock pulse RCP and three cascaded counters CTR, and it achieves that different working conditions are sequentially steady. Actually the whole system has good stability, high efficiency operation, accurate excluding points and so on.
