First summarizes the contradiction between the increasing demand of libraries ＇funding and library users＇ requirement growing. And then analyzes the practices and advantages and disadvantages of main optimal allocation model,such as reader decision purchase, alliance centralized purchase, etc. At last, it raises several proposals about optimal allocation of resource purchase expenditure with different types and different sizes of library resources.
