英文摘要：
The heat-reactive surfactant-free polyacrylate/epoxysiloxane emulsion as surface size was prepared by the seed copolymerizatian, using polyvinyl alcohol （PVA） as dispersing agent, water-soluble epoxy resin as the crossliking agent. The factors affecting the synthesis were investigated and the optimum reaction conditions were described as below： seed polymerization, temperature 85℃, time 3.5 h, w（MAA） = 8% - 10%, n （BA）/n（St） = 1- 1.2,w （PVA）= 4%, w（WEP） = 2% .The paper treated with the diluted resultant emulsion with 2.5% solid content （mass fraction） obtained good properties, the sizing value was more than 13.6 seconds, the surfacee strength, tensile strength and folding endurance were 3.4m/s ,43N and 46 times respectively. The observation of SEM showed that the fibers and fines were well bonded together and formed a compact structure.
