以合成的高分子乳液作为分散剂,聚酰胺多胺环氧氯丙烷(PAE)作为阳离子增效剂,制备了具有良好施皎效果的AKD乳液。研究了AKD乳液制备过程的主要影响因素,并分析了高分子基AKD乳液与传统AKD乳液的差别。实验结果表明,当合成的高分子乳液用量为15%,PAE用量为10%时,AKD乳液趋于稳定,并具有很好的施胶和增强效果;高分子基AKD乳液颗粒表面阳电荷密度较高,加入后使纸浆纤维表面的电荷变化比较明显,具有良好的自留着作用,施胶效果优于传统AKD乳液,熟化时间也可减少1/3,且CPAM对其有很好的留着效果。
A polymer base AKD emulsion with excellent stability and sizing performance was developed with a synthetic polymer as dispersant and polyamide amine epoxy chloropropane (PAE) as cationic synergist. Main factors affecting the preparation process of AKD emulsion were investigated and the differences between polymer base AKD emulsion and traditional AKD emulsion were analyzed by comparison experiments. It was found that the emulsion is relative stable with excellent sizing and strengthening effect when w(synthetic polymer)=15%, w(PAE)=10%. It was also found that polymer base AKD emulsion has better sizing performance and self-retention effect. Owing to higher positive charge density on the emulsion particles' surface, great changes take place on the surface charge of the pulp fibers as soon as AKD emulsion is added. Furthermore, polymer dispersant and synergist are also favorable to paper sizing, at the same time, they are helpful to keep AKD staying on the paper and produce binding activity, resulting in less aging time of about 2/3 of that of traditional emulsion. In addition, CPAM is also beneficial to the retention effect of the polymer base AKD emulsion.
