制造企业进行服务创新面临着资源刚性和惯例刚性的阻碍,因此,制造企业在服务转型背景下,如何进行服务创新成为学者和管理者共同关注的热点问题.为了回答这一问题,本文将组织冗余这一变量引入到服务创新领域,研究组织冗余能否以及如何影响制造企业的服务创新.特别地,本文指出组织冗余不仅能为制造企业服务创新提供资源,从而减少资源刚性的阻力,直接推动制造企业服务创新.同时,组织冗余还是企业跨界搜索活动的重要推动力量,而跨界搜索活动是帮助制造企业克服惯例刚性的关键因素,因而组织冗余还能帮助企业克服惯例刚性而间接促进制造企业的服务创新.基于270家制造企业的样本数据进行了实证检验,结果支持了本文的假设.本文的结论强调了组织冗余对制造企业服务创新的重要性,对企业管理实践有一定的指导意义.
Service innovation in manufacturing enterprises is faced with the obstacles of resource rigidity and routine rigidity. Therefore,in the context of servitization,how manufacturing enterprises conduct the service innovation has become the focus of scholars and managers. In order to answer this question,it introduced the variable of organizational slack into service innovation field,studying whether or how organizational slack affects the service innovation of manufacturing enterprises. It argued that organizational slack can provide resources for the service innovation of manufacturing enterprises,thereby reducing the resistance of resource rigidity,promoting the service innovation of manufacturing enterprises directly. Also,organizational slack is the important driving force of enterprise boundary-spanning search activities which are the key factors of helping manufacturers overcome routine rigidity,therefore organizational slack can help manufacturers overcome routine rigidity and indirectly promote the service innovation of manufacturing enterprises.The results of empirical analysis based 270 manufacturing enterprises support our hypothesis. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of organizational slack for the service innovation of manufacturing enterprises,and it has some guidances to the enterprise management practice.
