Today, there are many old Chinese writers in New Zealand. They are very active in writing so that old writers have turned out to be a trend. The situation of old writers reflects many things about New Zealand society, including the growing population, the situation of Chinese immigrants, the situation of Chinese newspapers and Chinese literature in New Zealand. Writing in Chinese by overseas Chinese writers is very important. It＇s benefiting themselves, the growth of Chinese community and the spread of Chinese culture all over the world.
