This paper presents the bacteria species involved in microbiologically influenced corrosion, such as sulfate-reducing bacteria, iron bacteria and acid-producing bacteria, the corrosion mechanisms by sulfate-reducing bacteria （SRB） was mainly reviewed. Anticorrosion techniques, including physical method, chemical method and biological method, were also introduced in this paper.
