In the fault diagnosis and trend prediction of mechanical and electrical system under non stationary states, proper analyzing current states of the system is a necessity process. Signal analytic methods based on EMD has obvious advantages in the non-stationary signal analyzing. This paper elaborates signal analytic methods based on EMD and their programming realization. Meanwhile the article also researches repressing effect of endpoint in EMD. A system named "signal analysis integrated system in non-stationary condition analysis of mechanical and electrical system" is designed and run both in hardware and in software, which provides the foundation for constructing an open, soft-analysis on states and trend prediction system.
