The religions of Quanzhou in history consisted of homeland Taoism, folk belief, and outsiders such as Buddhism, Islam, Christian, Hindustan, Manichean, and Judaism etc. which co-existed harmoniously. Through Mount Qingyuan＇s stone tablets, the harmonious coexistent of Buddhism, Taoism and Islam and their co-building of holy cave is illustrated, monks together with folks in share-effort constructed temples indicating three religions converged and their harmonious co-existence. And folks worship for ancestors in the temple of Mount Turtle, the co-building of college and temple all indicate the close relationship among folk belief, Confucianism,and Taoism.
