Thean Hou temple where Mazu is worshiped is an important temple in Quanzhou,and which has shared harmonious common development with other water-gods since its origination.From the time of Ming and Qing dynasties,Mazu＇s supernatural effect has expended greatly,Quanzhou Thean Hou temple has not only amalgamated with various folk gods for worshiping,but also born a number of offshoot ones to Taiwan and Southeast countries of Asia etc.Based upon the historical development of Quanzhou Thean Hou temple,a conclusion can be reached that Quanzhou folk religion has involved harmonious development with interdependency.
