The optimization on the mining limit of open-pit mine is an important part during mining design and production,which related to the security,economy and other aspects of mine.Firstly,the optimization models of mining limit for open-pit mine were established by Lagrangian relaxation algorithm.Taking a limestone open-pit mine as an example,block models of orebody were built through 3DMine.Using the maximum economic benefits as the optimization goal,the optimization study on the mining limit was carried out.Compared to the non-optimized mining limit,it obtained that through the optimization,the economic benefit was improved obviously,in which the total overburden amount was decreased by 3.84%,the mine-out ore was increased by1.96%,and the stripping ratio was reduced by 8.33%.
