The authors made quantitative analysis to Datong industrial structure and its effect on economy growth by using shift-share method. Taking Shanxi province for an example, the authors roundly analyzed existing problems of 3 changes of industrial structure and competitiveness, and put forward suggestions for adjustment and optimization of Datong industrial structure.
