＂Chemistry and Modem Civilization＂ course is a cultural quality of public elective course for the students. It＇s teaching content focus on the introduction of Chemical knowledge foundation. The relationship between the food, clothing, shelter and transportation and chemistry was introduced, including the daily necessities, food, energy, material, environment, resources, and the life, agriculture, weapons, etc. Combined with the hot spots of society, the student could comprehensively understand the characteristics of the natural science and its important role from the chemistry window, which widen the sight and improve the purpose of scientific literacy of students.
