对高校图书馆参考咨询服务的现状作了分析,认为图书馆咨询工作在开展传统文献咨询服务的同时,应逐步发展电子信息服务,加强网络咨询的建设,全方位地满足广大师生多种多样的信息需要。在发展硬件设备的同时,还提出了咨询部的“三个1/3”的工作方式.即咨询服务(定题服务)、日常工作、个人提高等。
The article analyses the present situation of the referring and consulting service in university libraries and points out that while offering the traditional consulting service, university libraries should gradually promote the electronic information service and reinforce the construction of the system of consulting on Internet, so that the needs of the teachers and students for various kinds of information can be completely satisfied. While emphasizing the importance of developing the hardware facilities, the authors propose a work model of "three 1/3's" for the consulting service department of university libraries, i.e. one third of the total work time should be spent on special topic researching, another third on daily work implementing and another third on the self-improvement of the librarians.
