The radioactive contamination situation of agricultural products caused by the Fukushima nuclear crisis in Japan is analyzed, and the field investigations and countermeasures taken by the Japanese government, NGOs, academics and international community are summarized. In addition,some feasible suggestions are proposed concerning the improvement of the food safety emergency responses in China.
