During a long development process,Huizhou merchants formed their own values,which included family values based on filial piety and fraternal duty,education concepts focused on moral qualities,economical life style,ethics emphasizing integrity,morality and justice,and wealth views of earning money affluently and using money wisely. These values are Huizhou merchants＇ spiritual prop which lasts for hundreds of years.Huizhou merchants believe in destiny,Confucianism and simple truth. They have their beliefs,therefore they hold reverence. Besides,they have their cultural consciousness. Nowadays,Huizhou merchants＇ values are one of the major resources to cultivate socialist core values.
