Since 1980s, Huizhou studies have achieved great development for the number oi researchers, continu- ously expanding research field and research methods innovation and research results continue to increase.Especially in the new century, the number of Huizhou research projects in the National Social Science Fund shows a ＂blow- out＂ situation.The influence of Huizhou research continues to expand and its academic foundation becomes more solid.The further development of Huizhou studies needs to strengthen theoretical research, literature foundation, these related fields and the related research of Huizhou into ＂Great history＂ review.
