论文基于企业资源观,构建了由探索性创新与应用性创新、资源柔性与协调柔性、环境不确定性构成的理论研究框架,深入探讨战略柔性对不同模式创新的作用机理,以及环境不确定性在其中的调节作用。通过404家中国企业的数据分析发现,资源柔性对探索性创新具有促进作用,而对应用性创新具有抑制作用;协调柔性能够同时促进探索性创新和应用性创新;环境不确定性正向调节战略柔性与探索性创新之间的作用。研究结果明确了战略柔性对不同创新模式的影响,丰富了企业创新影响因素的理论研究,有助于企业通过提高资源柔性或协调柔性的手段,实现对探索性创新和应用性创新的最优配置,以应对环境不确定性并保持持续竞争优势。
Based on the resource- basedview, this paper proposed a theoretical research framework containing five variables: explorative innovation, exploitative innovation, resource flexibility, coordination flexibility and environmental uncertainty. An empirical study is conducted to examine the hypothesizes raised by the model based on 404 sample data collected from enterprises in China, and it is found out that resource flexibility has a positive influence on explorative innovation but a negative influence on exploitative innovation; coordination flexibility has a positive influence on both explorative innovation and exploitative innovation; environmental uncertainty plays a moderating role in the relationship between strategic flexibility and exploratory innovation posi- tively, but not in the relationship between strategic flexibility and exploitative innovation. The research results identify the im- pacts of strategic flexibility on different modes of innovation and enrich the theoretical research on the influencing factors of enter- prise innovation, and they are beneficial to achieving the optimized allocation of explorative innovation and exploitative innovation by improving resource flexibility and coordination flexibility so as to deal with environmental uncertainty and maintain a sustain- able competitive advantage.
