The paper studies the causes of the unreasonable benefit distribution of China＇s dairy industry and its impact on the long-term mechanism of China＇s dairy industry development from the perspective of industry chain. Taking dairy processing enterprises as the center, competitive product market and regional monopoly buyers in factor market induce dairy processing enterprises to bring down the prices of raw milk so as to tackle with the fierce price competition in product market. In this way, an unreasonable benefit distribution is formed in which the profits of dairy industry is transferred from the factor market to product market, and the cost pressure is trans- ferred from product market to factor market. The unreasonable benefit distribution pattern influences the construction of the long-term mechanism of China＇s dairy industry by restricting the improvement of the quality safety level of China＇s dairy products and forming stable supply and demand relationships or close contractual relationships among different industrial subjects.
