As an important means of making the best use of talents, classified evaluation of teachers has been carried out in colleges and universities in China. This paper, analyzes the current situation and existing problems of classified evaluation of university teachers in China, and discusses the ways of realizing the classification of college teachers from four aspects： scientific classification of universities, clarified purpose of classified evaluation, establishment of the dynamic balance mechanism of evaluation, and promotion of the guarantee and support svstem.
