The meta-discourse of literary anthropology, resembling the organization, categorization, interpretation and assessment of the linguistic discourse, represents the way of speaking and perspective of literary anthropology, the point of view and attitude of the speaker and the impact on the addressee and context. The advent of the meta- discourse in Chinese literary anthropolog=~ ensures the independence and the development of the discipline. In the new anthropological context, the traditional concepts concerning meta-discourse and the relationship between literature and anthropology require some degree of re-interpretation.
