中国新文学是在民族性和现代性的张力中发展的。新文学在与外来文化的碰撞交融中,建构文学的民族性。其理想的状态不是简单地确认和复归传统,亦非模仿和移植外国文学,而是在多种文化因素相互作用下重构。它要以多种文化为参照系,穿越中西文化的壁垒,在人类性的高度上重新理解民族文化传统,在文学创作和研究中对其进行取舍,以具有民族独特性的文学来表达具有世界共通性的文化精髓,达到民族性的借重和人类性的超越。新时期文学对此进行了自觉的实践,其成就和不足都对当下中国文学的发展具有重要的启示意义。
英文摘要：
China＇s new literature has been developing in response to tension of nationality and modernity.The nationality of new literature has shaped in its conflict and fusion with foreign cultures.Its ideal state is re-shaping under the mutual effect of multiple cultural elements rather than simple recognition and tradition recovery or imitation and transplantation of foreign traditions.The object of new literature is to re-comprehend traditions of national culture by breaking the barriers between Chinese and western cultures with reference to multiple culture.Then in practice of literary writing and study,new literature will express cultural highlights shared by most peoples on the globe to the extent of emphasizing nationality and exceeding humanity.All these have been consciously practiced the new-period literature,whose achievements and disadvantages are of great inspiration to current development of Chinese literature.
