Small town construction is an effective vehicle for the county economy. Small towns in Inner Mongolia are not only the basis for the rapid development of county economy, but also an important engine. In the process of small town promoting the county＇s economic development, urban construction emergenees new features, but there are many problems.Therefore, we should foster the growth of pillar industries and establish a unified labor market; dig town＇s potential and cultivate town＇s characteristics to enhance the ability of urban agglomeration; encourage the ioint development of small towns to enhance economic strength of the county; develop diverse patterns of urbanization; fully consider the environmental and industry carrying capacity, to control the size of the town appropriately.
