The treatment and prevention effects of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） depend primarily on the quality of resources and decoction pieces, and the quality of Chinese crude drugs is mainly reflected in the genuineness, wildness, growing time, and product compliance. Now the quality of Chinese materia medica resources is evaluated by chemical index components identification in Chinese Pharmacopoeia, to some extent, evaluation criteria were standardized. However, the market with imperfect mechanism gave criminals an opportunity to manufacture counterfeit products. Remedy traditional methods should be combined with modern technology in order to promote the sound development of TCM health industry.
