To understand the function of midbrain＇s subregions relative to movement, the responses of lightly anesthetized pigeon were observed and recorded through electrically stimulating different regions in pigeon midbrain. The activities like TOS, ICo of midbrain, wing flapping, shortness of breath and so on were studied.
