To share distributed resources and save computing cost,Grid computing connects distributed high-performance computers on the Internet together to form a virtual supper-computer.The grid computing model C Grid based on campus LAN uses the backbone of campus network as the main media for communicatlon.It supports dynamic nodes' joining,provides uniform programming interface,and realizes different grid computing tasks.The tests of computation algorithm of π and Mersenne Prime Search show that CGrid is not only practical,but also real-time.
