In this paper, the unified representation problem of multivariate data in 2D plane is discussed. The 2D graphical repres- entation of multivariate data includes single point representation and multiple points representation. The unified mathematical description of these two ways usually uses the Cartesian coordinates or polar coordinates formulas. On the basis of constructing the mapping relationship between the multivariate data set and the ordered plane graphical primitives set, the uniqueness of the representation is proved.
