黑玉是以S-2-10-G11为母本,以Z-10-G13为父本配制而成的茄子一代杂种。中早熟,植株生长势强,果实长棒形,塑料大棚栽培果长35cm,果宽4.87cm,单果质量240g。果皮黑紫色、有光泽,果肉绿白色,肉质细嫩,春季塑料大棚栽培每667m^2产量6000kg左右,田间对黄萎病的抗性与对照兰杂2号相当,适宜我国北方地区露地及保护地栽培。

＇Heiyu＇ is a new eggplant F1 hybrid bred by crossing inbred line ＇S-2-10-G11＇ as maternal parent and ＇Z-10-G13＇ as paternal parent. It is of mid-early maturity and has strong growth vigor. Its fruit is of long-rod shape. The fruit is 35 cm in length, 4.87 cm in diameter. The single fruit weight is 240 g under plastic shed. Its pericarp is shinning black purple in color. The fruit pulp is green white in color and very tender in quality. Its resistance to Verticillium wilt in field is equivalent to the contrast ＇Lanza No.2＇ It can yield averagely about 90 t·hm^-2 in spring under plastic shed. It is suitable for protected and open field cultivation in northern China.
