《墨经》是“世界最古名学之书”．墨家深刻研究了“名”的本质、分类和定义，这些构成了墨家逻辑学之概念论．据此，墨家开历史之先河，对数学概念进行了准确而严密的定义．着重剖析了墨家的定义方式对后世中算家，特别是刘徽界定数学概念的影响，从而进一步肯定了《墨经》在中国传统数学和世界逻辑史上的重要地位．
英文摘要：
Mofing is the most ancient logical book that occupied important position in the history of logic in the world. The authors of Mojing learned deeply the character, the classification and the definition of ＂ming＂. All these composed of the logical concept system in Mojing by which the authors of Mofing firstly give mathematical concepts accurate and rigorous definitions. The conceptual influence of Mojing on Liuhui＇s mathematical definitions is analyzed. Besides, it further firms that the methods of definitions in Mojing have great effect also on mathematical theory.
