乾嘉之际随着学界复古思潮的兴起，中国传统数学也得到了学者的重视。“谈天三友”焦循、汪莱、李锐在深入钻研秦九韶、李冶等数学著作的基础上，对高次方程解法和天元术提出了自己的见解，使方程论成为较完整的理论体系。他们的数学思想已接近于代数基本定理的思想。

英文摘要：

With the revival of the thought to return to the ancient during the Qing dynasty of Qianlong and Jiaqing , scholars put a high premium on the traditional mathematics in China . On the basis of studying intensively the works of Qinjiushao and Liyan, the three mathematicians, Jiaoxun, Wanglai and Lirui, bought up their own new ideas about the high order equation solution. Up to now their thoughts still have far-reaching influence on the modem mathematical creativity.
