Spatial pattern of the travel itinerary is helpful to determine the moving regularity of tourist flow and reflects the space distribution regularity and situation of regional tourism elements.Taking Yunnan province as case study,this paper compara-tively discusses the basic characteristics and spatial pattern of itineraries and the characteristics of the destination type based on the detailed quotation of routes in top travel agencies.The result shows that the multi -destination travel pattern is the main mode and the en route pattern plays a leading role in Yunnan province.The choice of air transportation inside Yunnan province significantly affects the pattern of the hub -spoke style and regional tour.There is a big difference in the frequency of destinations included in travel itineraries.The destination plays the different roles in spatial pattern of travel itinerary.Destinations in travel itineraries can obtain benefits on the effect of cooperation among destinations.Therefore it is particularly important for the development of the des-tination to establish cooperative relations among other destinations.
