It is reported that β - nitrostyrene was synthesized by a rapid and efficient environment-friendly manner. β- nitrostyrene was synthesized by ultrasonic Henry reaction and the accessory ingredient of alcohol ClaisenSchmidt reaction, using benzaldehyde and nitromethane as raw materials. β - nitrostyrene can be obtained through Claisen-Schmidt reaction with the highest yield, which is 84%.
