现有的网络编码广播重传算法都没有考虑对长度不等的数据分组进行编码重传时的编码效率及相应的编码算法优化问题。为此,针对性地提出一种基于非对称网络编码的无线多媒体广播重传算法(wirelessmul—timediabroadcastretransmissionalgorithmbasedonasymmetricnetworkcoding,BRANC)。BRANC在编码包可解条件限定下将不等长的数据分组进行拼接,并自适应地选择数据分组进行编码,从而有效地减少重传次数。同时,BRANC增加标志位的数据分组分割方式减小了传输的控制开销。理论分析和仿真结果表明,BRANC算法较对称网络编码广播重传算法可以有效地提升网络性能。
Existing network coding retransmission algorithms didn' t consider the potential diversity in packets size, which has a significant impact on coding efficiency and the design of network coding mechanism. This paper pat forward a wireless multi- media broadcast retransmission algorithm based on asymmetric network coding BRANC, which ,jointed the variable length pac- kets under the limitation that encoded packets could de decoded, and adaptively selected the encoding packets. BRANC iden- tifies jointed packets by adding flags so as to reduce the transmission overhead. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that BRANC can effectively improve network performance compared with current symmetric network coding algorithms.
