One strain of antergic germ MLS-7 against Aeromonas hydrophila was separated from 212 strains of germ in cultured water and gastrointestinal tract of aquatic animals. Through physiologic and biochemical test, the germ was initially characterized as Enterococcus faecalis. Further results of MLS-7 bacteriostasis test and co-culture test showed that MLS-7 had stronger bacteriostasis against A. hydrophila. And the determination of MLS-7 bacteriostasis spectra showed that it had some bacteriostasis to pathogenic bacteria of fish.
