独立学院作为中国高等教育大众化的产物已走过十余个年头,目前正处于转型的生死关口。曾经受益于母校的声誉优势,现在要面对走向独立的未卜命运。为了避免成为中国高等教育发展史上昙花一现的匆匆过客,作为中国高等教育改革的试验田,独立学院应当借鉴现代企业管理方面的先进经验,特别是要重视对学校声誉的管理。唯有树立起自己"响当当""硬邦邦"的声誉,为众多利益相关者提供有价值的产出,才能赢得利益相关者的支持而获得持续健康发展。
As the product of the popularization of higher education in china, independent colleges have been in existence for more than ten years and now they are on the crossing of transformation, which may even determine their future existence. Once they benefited from the reputation advantage of their mother universities, and now they should face their own uncertain destiny either going to be real independent or being transformed into private universities. In order to avoid being only the transient passer in the history of Chinese higher education, as the experimental field for Chinese higher education reform, independent colleges should also borrow the advanced experience from modem business management, paying special attention on the management of school reputation. Only when independent colleges set up their own good reputation, and provide valuable outcome for all the stakeholders, can they win the support of stakeholders and gain the development continually and healthily.
