Effects of carbon dioxide amount and injection rate on synthesis of alkyl benzene sulfonic acid calcium extreme pressure agent with high alkali value were investigated, and the mechanism analysis was carried out. At last, the best conditions were determined as follows： CO2 amount 12 L, injection rate 300 mL/min.
