教育博士专业学位(Ed.D)以“实践性”为基本价值取向。但长期以来,世界范围内Ed.D的发展均面临重重困境和批判,突出的问题恰恰是其发展模式与Ph.D高度趋同,偏离了实践性的价值取向。基于历史考察和逻辑考证发现:进步主义教育思想建立在注重“实践”和“行动”的本质上,与教育博士专业学位的实践性取向高度契合,对克服当下教育博士学位发展中实践性缺失的问题、推进教育博士学位的健康发展具有重要的启发意义。以进步主义教育思想为指导,Ed.D的发展应树立起旨在促进人的解放与社会变革的基本理念,打破正式的学校教育的范围限制,致力于培养反思性实践者,以行动研究作为其培养模式变革的基本方向。
The basic value orientation of the Ed.D. Program is "practical". However, for a long time, the development of Ed.D. has been faced with a lot of difficulties and criticism around the world. The prominent problem lies in that the development model of Ed.D. and Ph.D. display a high degree of convergence, which strays from the practical value orientation. To solve the plight of Ed.D., we need to seek related advanced theory as guidance, transform the development mode of Ed.D., and highlight its practical orientation. Based on historical and logical research, it is found that the Ed.D. Program should be primarily based on John Dewey's progressive education ideals, set up the basic concept of promoting human liberation and social change, break the limit of the formal education system, be dedicated to cultivating reflective practitioners, and take action research as the direction in the reform of its development mode.
