Insects are biological resources with high quality proteins and have great potential for the development and application.In this article,the effects of some common insect proteins,such as silkworm protein,housefly larva protein,Tenebrio molitor protein,on animal immune fuction were summarized in three aspects including specific immunity,nonspecific immunity and immune organs.Medical values of insect proteins were also reviewed.
