the Bian Feng Poetry Society was set up in 1940 by students of the Shanghai branch of Wuxi Institute of Sinology. They named their works Bian Feng She Shi Lu. The topics of the poetry anthology include hatred for Japanese invaders, desire for victory, longing for families and friends, indignation on society injustice, deep sympathy to toiling masses, etc. Their writings have a very outstanding artistic features which embody the unique style as well as ＂Chen Yu Dun Cuo＂ and their Ci poetry display both Wan Yue style and Hao Fang style. The Poetry Society made an instructive exploration in the producing of the classic poems and Ci poetry which has a significant value for the Inheritance of traditional culture.
