By clarifying the situation of a series of associations in the basic level, especially literary groups in which Guo Zeyun once participated; we can propose his contributions toward the literary circles in Beijing and Tianjin as weU as the impact of association activities on his writing. Through the associations and lectures, Guo Zeyun maintained the traditions of the Fujian Association of poetry and Guo style family literature and made a further impact. Guo also organized a literature group which mainly came from Fujian through the ways of poetry. This literature group provides an important perspective and clues for the research of modern poetry and Ci poetry.
