To maintain compatibility between the structure and fluid meshes in the analysis of fluid-structure interaction, transferring data over fluid and structural meshes is necessary. Some problems such as compatibility conditions on the coupling interfaces, conservation of energy in data transferring and convergence criteria are discussed.
