Environmental problems are increasingly severe, and scholars have come to realize that green consumption canmake a positive contribution to the environment. The impact of power on green consumption is studied. It finds that com-pared with low power consumers, high power consumers are less inclined to buy green products. High power would leadconsumers to choose relatively luxurious products over green products while these two are same price. This phenomenonwould also happen when high power consumers faced with cheap energy -wasting products and expensive energy -savingproducts, they are more likely to choose the former. The difference in prices between the two products regulates the impactof power on green consumption and the impact will be more remarkable when large price difference existed.
