The validity of leadership is defined as interaction with subordinates in specific environment. Paternalistic leadership is produced in the context of Chinese culture, and with a certain cultural heterogeneity. More and more evidence that paternalistic leadership can well explain the performance of Chinese organiza- tions. In Chinese culture background, The paternalistic leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, psycho- logical empowerment, show that there are significant correlation among the three, and the perception of psy- chological empowerment of employees play an mediation role in the paternalistic leadership behaviors affect the organizational citizenship behavior.
